Oil Painting with Jody Reid
Wednesdays, February 26, March 5 & 12: 5:30-7:30 pm
In this 3 part series students have the option to paint a still life painting along with Jody or paint from a photo reference or bring in a painting they are working on for ongoing guided support in working through challenges. Students will learn classic oil painting techniques, experiment with brush strokes and explore composition, adding light, shadow and color. Part one of the series will focus on creating a detailed underpainting. Part two focuses on the introduction of color. Part three will focus on highlights, finishing the painting and final touches and glazes. Jody will offer individual support and demonstrations throughout the series.
