Oils: Painting the Still Life with Jody Reid
Tuesdays, January 14, 21, 28: 5:30-7:30 pm
In this 3 part series Jody will walk you through the process of painting the still life. Students will be working from life learning classic oil painting techniques, experimenting with brush stroke and composition through light, shadow and color. Part one of the series will focus on creating a detailed underpainting. Part two focuses on the introduction of color. Part three will focus on highlights, finishing the painting and final touches and glazes. Jody will offer individual support and demonstrations throughout the series.
