Leann
Wooten joins our staff to bring the art of mosaic to the Cedarburg
Cultural Center. In these open workshops, Leann will cover all
of the techniques of cutting tile and glass, understanding terminology,
the use
of correct
adhesives on various substrates, sealing and grouting. Students will
receive hand-outs covering basic resources and materials to prepare
them for future mosaic projects. No art mosaic experience necessary!

edited photos. This series will be built around the needs of

student’s with more of any emphasis on fine tuning your work
in Adobe Photoshop and getting more from your camera.

This hands-on advanced Adobe Photoshop class is designed for the
collage artist who wants to experience the creative side of Photoshop.
Instruction will be at individual computer stations and cover scanning
techniques, digital photo sizes, common tools, tips and tricks of
Photoshop production. Students will also work with creative filters
and layer blending modes. Hand-painted/illustrative techniques applied
to photographs, merging multiple photos, scanned sketches and found
images into a composition. This college level class requires students
to have a basic working knowledge of Photoshop. Supply list.

| Students will learn how to correctly expose
and capture footage with their own video camera they bring to class.
Instruction will be given regarding importing footage into a PC
using Adobe Premiere Elements. Students will be taught how to edit,
add text, or sound files to their videos. Burning the project onto
a DVD playable by a standard home player will be the final step
